Day 1 in the life of Katelyn A. Rapoza

Hi BSC friendssss!

My exciting day started at approximately 8:32 am. I got up and had a ham, egg and cheese omelet....actually I'll just skip to the NGLA stuff. yay! day 1! travelling was funnnn. Maribeth kept on saying that she could race the other mini vans, casual. She's so gangsta. We arrived in Hartford at around 330 and went to our rooms to chill for a little while. Then we ventured to the Connecticut Convention Center to check in where we got name tags, a lunch ticket, our schedule and some other fun things. We got free tshirts from filling out this little survey form type thing and then we went to the greek boutique. It was really cute but more Gamma Phi Beta stuff was needed. (= After that we headed back to our rooms to get psyched for dinner. We tried to go to the food court but it was closed. When we were walking it was clear to see that IFC is faster than NPC'ers. hahaha, not that I'm surprised I'm in the slower group. We got Quizno's for dinner, it was delicious I got a turkey & chedder sandwich, delish. we all pow-wow'ed in our room and ate dinner, that is after we got kicked out of our pow-wow in the convention center, weird. Then we discussed all the Ed sessions we are going to go to. Kinda sad we only saw one Gamma Phi Beta so far, butttt there weill be tons tomorrow! So pumped to start the day!
