My first day attending NGLA has been filled with the most insight to an opportune moment waiting ahead for me. The presentation we witnessed tonight was "Welcome & Opening Program: “Be a Dream Maker: Your Role in Making Fraternity and Sorority Life Great" The speaker Michelle O had some valid points of information that she provided to the audience tonight. 

•  The quickest way to get back on track is to go back to the beginning
• Accountability: The state of being accountable, liable, or answerable.
• Be accountable for your chapter, your community, and your family, start with myself and not focus on others for their accountability.

• Be better than the ones that came before you in your fraternity/sorority 
• Do what aligns with your values not what goes against them.
• commit the ritual of your organization to memory.
• Brotherhood/Sisterhood need to be everywhere
•

I was quite captivated by the following information she had provided personally. She was energetic and connected with the audience from time to time.
