NGLA Day 1

The drive to Hartford wasn't too bad with Emma driving the van, we made it to the hotel and only stopped once before arriving.  Once we brought our bags to our rooms we checked into the conference and got dinner after. The BBQ place near the hotel was really good, and called Bears so it was great; wish there was one near BSU. I liked picking the sessions with everyone and am looking forward to learning a lot regarding leadership and the different ways to help improve our chpater as well as the greek community this weekend. The keynote speaker was funny and and engaged the audience throughout her presentation and gave highlights about the different aspects of greek life that need to be changes as a whole. I am excited to learn more after the presentation. After the speaker, a few of us took a trip with MB to CVS and took many different streets because the GPS kept rerouting we finally found a Walgreens and saw the CVS right across the street. We made it back to the hotel without getting mugged so it was a successful trip. Can't wait for tomorrow!
