Today a new group of fraternity and sorority leaders depart for the Northeast Greek Leadership Association conference in beautiful Hartford, CT ;) I am so excited for this new group of 10 students to experience a wonderful opportunity to meet fraternity and sorority members from around the northeast, attend educational workshops to help our campus community grow and develop, and hear speakers that will motivate and excite them to push through the status quo.
I'd be re missed if I didn't thank all the people who made this trip possible for the students. We had donations from Greek alumni, family & friends, the Panhellenic Association, and Sigma Pi- Eta Eta who all made this opportunity available. Without those donations to the Greek Leadership Account, this trip doesn't happen and our students miss out on a great experience to connect what they are learning in class to the BSU community and beyond. We worked really had to raise funds to provide this weekend for our student leaders and I hope you will see through the blog posts this weekend that EVERY PENNY donated has an amazing return. Our students are grateful for this opportunity and understand their responsible to your financial investment in their development.

Have an amazing journey MB and everyone going!! I just thought you should know that forever this morning I spent rereading all the way back in 2010 when I went and it was just such good memories that came back to me and all of the amazing opportunities experiences and things I was able to learn that made no sense to me way back then but have helped guide me and make me the strong women and leader that I am today. This experience truly is life changing in that it inspires you for every minute you are there and there is never a dull one. I am so happy for each and every one of you in CT right now probs venturing out to playfair I hope you meet some great people and learn amazing things to help strengthen thsi community.
